LWB 4PMB Load Wheel Brakes and Varistop Motor Brakes | Matrix International

Both models are electrically released, variable torque, stationary single-face brakes with zero backlash designed for dry use.

LWB 4PMB parking and service brakes are positioned inside front load wheels.

Varistop motor brakes are typically mounted vertically to the top of the vehicle’s traction motor. They also provide parking brake functionality with zero drag torque.
